The current study examined cross-sectional and longitudinal associations between nocturia and frailty in a cohort of men and women aged 60 years and older, as evidence on this topic was lacking. Introduction: Long-term data indicate that patients who underwent metabolic bariatric surgery have a higher risk of developing nutritional complications. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to monitor their nutritional status.
Methods: A scoping literature search was conducted in MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, and TRIP database to identify clinical practice guidelines for nutritional screening before and after metabolic bariatric surgery from learned societies.

Objective: To investigate the prognostic value of maternal angiogenic factors in late-onset small fetuses, alone or in combination with the ultrasound and Doppler parameters currently used for the classification of low-risk small-for-gestational-age (SGA) fetuses or high-risk fetal growth restriction (FGR), overall and according to the presence or absence of pre-eclampsia.
Methods: This was a prospective cohort study of women with a singleton pregnancy with a diagnosis of late-onset fetal smallness (defined as birth weight < 10 centile) and a gestational age of ≥ 34 weeks at delivery. Ultrasound assessment of estimated fetal weight (EFW) and Doppler assessment of uterine artery pulsatility index (UtA-PI) and cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) were performed every 1-2 weeks.

Aedes aegypti, the primary vector of several medically significant arboviruses-including dengue fever, yellow fever, chikungunya and Zika-was successfully eradicated from Egypt in 1963. However, since 2011, there have been increasing reports of its re-emergence, alongside dengue outbreaks in southern Egyptian governorates, raising significant public health concerns.
