Introduction: In pediatric urology, urodynamic studies are considered the most reliable method for assessing the function of the lower urinary tract. These evaluations play a particularly important role in guiding treatment decisions for neurogenic bladder conditions.

Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the impact of artifacts on the interobserver and intraobserver agreement in the interpretation of pediatric urodynamic traces.

Bladder cancer is categorized into nonmuscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) and muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), distinguished by the presence of detrusor muscle invasion. Urothelial cell carcinoma is the most common subtype of bladder cancer. Transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) is the standard approach for staging and managing NMIBC, while radical cystectomy remains the cornerstone treatment for MIBC.

Background And Objective: Urothelial bladder cancer (UCB) care requires frequent follow-up cystoscopy and surgery. Confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE), a probe-based optical technique for real-time microscopic evaluation, has shown promising accuracy for grading of UCB. We investigated the diagnostic accuracy of CLE-based assessment of the surgical radicality of the bladder resection bed (RB).

Background: Functional outflow tract obstruction (FOO) remains a challenging disease to manage in male dogs. Cystostomy tubes have been used to relieve urethral obstruction while allowing time to achieve effective medical management, avoiding the need for emergency visits and repeat urinary catheterizations.

Objectives: To describe a series of dogs with FOO and categorize the most successful management strategies including medical management alone or with the support of cystostomy tubes for urinary diversion.

Lower urinary tract dysfunction (LUTD) was associated with bladder inflammation and tissue hypoxia with oxidative stress. The objective of the present study was to investigate the profiles of urine inflammatory and oxidative stress biomarkers in females with LUTD and to develop a urine biomarker-based decision tree model for the prediction. Urine samples were collected from 31 female patients with detrusor overactivity (DO), 45 with dysfunctional voiding (DV), and 114 with bladder pain syndrome (BPS).
