Introduction: The objective of this scoping review is to identify interventions to promote well-being that have been tried or proven effective to prevent or address burnout in rural health care professionals and trainees (HCPTs). Secondarily, we aimed to identify potentially applicable and feasible well-being interventions that could help rural HCPTs.

Background: Multimorbidity, the co-existence of two or more conditions within an individual at any one time, is globally increasing and forecasted to rise. This poses a significant challenge for current models of healthcare delivery, which are now ill-equipped to meet the future population health needs. Health services research looks at a form of care under contextual conditions. Often, and especially in the treatment of recurrent or chronic pain, these forms of care are complex interventions. Ensuring internal validity for subsequent interpretability of the results achieved as an essential requirement for studies in health services research therefore presents researchers with the challenge that they have to develop complex study protocols and implement and monitor them in clinical care.

In spring 2022, the inaugural cohort of Genetic and Genomic Counseling MSc students graduated from the Medical University of Innsbruck, representing a significant milestone for the establishment of the genetic counselor (GC) profession in the German-speaking countries. A pivotal component of their education was a 15-week clinical training period. The placement experiences of both students and supervisors offered valuable insights into the attitudes of medical geneticists toward the profession.

Background: Skilled Nursing residents who have cognitive impairment (CI) in heart failure(HF) have a significantly higher mortality rate. These residents' ability to self-manage their complex care upon discharge is critical for positive health outcomes.
