The "transitional mobile team" has been developed to optimize the management of the transition from prison to the community for people with psychiatric disorders in France. The objectives are to limit the risk of relapse and death during this high-risk period and to ensure the links between psychiatry in prison and community psychiatry.

Background: The importation model holds that inmate behaviour is a function of behaviours and thought patterns offenders bring with them into prison from the community. It may also be that offenders export behaviours and thought patterns they develop or refine in prison when they return to the community.
Aims: The purpose of this study was to determine whether an increase in reactive criminal thinking in prisoners predicts recidivism following release.

Introduction: While functional neuroimaging studies have reported on the neural correlates of severe antisocial behaviors, such as delinquency, little is known about whole brain resting state functional connectivity (FC) of incarcerated adolescents (IA). The aim of the present study is to identify potential differences in resting state connectivity between a group of male IA, compared to community adolescents (CA). The second objective is to investigate the relations among FC and psychological factors associated with delinquent behaviors, namely psychopathic traits (callous unemotional traits, interpersonal problems, and impulsivity), socio-cognitive (empathy and reflective functioning RF) impairments and psychological problems (externalizing, internalizing, attention and thought problems).

However, viral hepatitis services have not been routinely integrated into South African correctional facilities.
