This study investigated the heterogeneity of ocular hemodynamic biomarkers in early open angle glaucoma (OAG) patients and healthy controls of African (AD) and European descent (ED). Sixty OAG patients (38 ED, 22 AD) and 65 healthy controls (47 ED, 18 AD) participated in a prospective, cross-sectional study assessing: intraocular pressure (IOP), blood pressure (BP), ocular perfusion pressure (OPP), visual field (VF) and vascular densities (VD) via optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). Comparisons between outcomes were adjusted for age, diabetes status and BP. VF, IOP, BP and OPP were not significantly different between OAG subgroups or controls. Multiple VD biomarkers were significantly lower in OAG patients of ED ( < 0.05) while central macular VD was lower in OAG patients of AD vs. OAG patients of ED ( = 0.024). Macular and parafoveal thickness were significantly lower in AD OAG patients compared to those of ED ( = 0.006-0.049). OAG patients of AD had a negative correlation between IOP and VF index (r = -0.86) while ED patients had a slightly positive relationship (r = 0.26); difference between groups ( < 0.001). Age-adjusted OCTA biomarkers exhibit significant variation in early OAG patients of AD and ED.

Purpose: To characterize the anterior segment (AS) morphology of patients with long-term silicone oil (SiO) in situ (> 12 months) following pars plana vitrectomy (PPV).
Methods: This prospective, comparative characterization study was conducted between January 2022 and July 2023. Patients were included and sorted based on if they had undergone PPV without long-term SiO or had SiO in situ for at least 12 months at the time of review and image collection.

Purpose: To assess real-world efficacy and safety of standalone travoprost intracameral implant (iDose TR) implantation by a US glaucoma surgeon in patients with open-angle glaucoma (OAG) or ocular hypertension (OHT).
Methods: This non-randomized, retrospective, unmasked, consecutive case series included all cases of standalone iDose TR implantation from a single US glaucoma surgeon since the product's approval by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in December 2023. Patients were pseudophakic, had OAG or OHT, and had undergone prior SLT and/or bimatoprost intracameral implant injection (Durysta).

Background: The present study aims to identify the relationship between longitudinal changes in corneal hysteresis (CH) and progressive retinal nerve fibre layer (RNFL) thinning in a cohort of medically controlled, early-to-moderate open-angle glaucoma (OAG) patients with a history of laser refractive surgery (LRS).
Methods: A total of 123 consecutive eyes with a diagnosis of medically controlled (peak intraocular pressure (IOP)<18 mm Hg), early-to-moderate OAG with a history of LRS underwent measurements of CH, corneal-compensated intraocular pressure (IOPcc) and RNFL thicknesses every 6 months. Linear models were used to investigate the relationship between CH change and RNFL thickness change over time.

Purpose: To report the 12-month clinical outcomes in eyes with mild to moderate open-angle glaucoma (OAG) in Hispanic adults undergoing STREAMLINE Surgical System (STREAMLINE) canaloplasty combined with phacoemulsification.
Patients And Methods: This was a prospective, multi-center, interventional clinical trial involving 45 eyes of 45 Hispanic adult patients receiving topical medical therapy for mild to moderate OAG and undergoing phacoemulsification surgery for visually significant cataracts at three sites. All eyes underwent a Screening visit, followed by medication washout and a subsequent Baseline visit to determine eligibility for STREAMLINE canaloplasty.

Purpose: To investigate the relationship between the characteristics of optic disc rotation and visual field (VF) progression in patients with myopic open-angle glaucoma (OAG).
Methods: We included 53 eyes from 53 myopic OAG patients who were followed-up over a 3-year period. The characteristics of optic disc rotation including the degree of optic disc rotation, direction of optic disc rotation, and optic disc rotation-VF defect correspondence were investigated.
