Prostate cancer is a significant global health issue due to its high incidence and poor outcomes in metastatic disease. This study aims to develop models predicting overall survival for patients with metastatic biochemically recurrent prostate cancer, potentially helping to identify high-risk patients and enabling more tailored treatment options. A multi-centre cohort of 180 such patients underwent [Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT scans, with lesions semi-automatically segmented and radiomic features extracted from lesions.

Background: Visuospatial problems are one of the possible signs of Alzheimer's Disease (AD). Notably, various studies on eye movement in static image searches reveal that individuals with dementia fixate on fewer Areas of Interest (AoIs) for a significantly shorter duration than normal controls (CTLs). Building on prior works on speech and eye movement, in this study we examined word timestamps to infer each subject's focus of attention while describing the Cookie Theft picture.

USC Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA.

Background: Diagnosis of cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) presents a significant challenge in determining whether to propose anti-amyloid treatment plans. The identification of perivascular spaces (PVS) through MRI serves as a possible strategy to elucidate the physiopathological interconnections between the brain's clearance mechanisms and the accumulation of amyloid. This study endeavors to the association between PVS morphology and CAA pathology.

Latin American Brain Health Institute (BrainLat), Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile.

Background: The human brain integrity relies on the synergistic interplay between neural activity and supporting vascular and metabolic processes throughout life. This relationship, ruled by allostatic mechanisms, regulates brain architecture and activity. White matter hyperintensities (WMH) serve as indicators of the vascular impact on brain structure.
