This online intervention study examined whether system- and action-related information alone, together with goal setting, or together with goal setting and feedback helps people change their video streaming activities in a pro-environmental way. The participants ( = 92) documented their video streaming activities for one week prior to the intervention (week 1), three weeks after the onset of the intervention (weeks 2-4), and in a follow-up period two weeks later (week 7). A reduction of greenhouse gas emissions associated with video streaming was observed over the course of the intervention, together with reduced streaming durations and lowered resolution settings across all groups. There were no differences between the groups. It appears that as regards video streaming, information combined with self-monitoring has considerable potential to change individual behaviour and its associated ecological impact.

This paper addresses the increasing demand for efficient and scalable streaming service applications within the context of edge computing, utilizing NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX hardware and Docker. The study evaluates the performance of DeepStream and Simple Realtime Server, demonstrating that containerized applications can achieve performance levels comparable to traditional physical machines. The results indicate that WebRTC provides superior low-latency capabilities, achieving delays of around 5 s, while HLS typically experiences delays exceeding 10 s.

Background: During the recent years, emergency services in several countries have integrated video streaming into medical emergency calls, and research on the topic has gained increased focus. Video streaming during medical emergency calls may change dispatcher's perspective of the call and can be a helpful tool for supervising bystanders' first aid. Little research exists, however, about the caller's perspective of video streaming during a medical emergency call.

Background: With the widespread application of Artificial Intelligence technology in the field of E-commerce, human-machine relationships have attracted considerable attention within the field of psychology. Address forms, as crucial linguistic cues, have shown notable progress in advancing research on interpersonal relationships; however, a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics in interpersonal (or human-machine) relationships among interactors remains elusive. Therefore, based on Social Identity Theory, this paper explores the interactive effects and underlying mechanisms of affectionate nicknames and streamer type on streamer attitude in E-commerce live streaming, with consumers' perceptions of psychological closeness serving as the mediating mechanism.

Generating accurate and contextually rich captions for images and videos is essential for various applications, from assistive technology to content recommendation. However, challenges such as maintaining temporal coherence in videos, reducing noise in large-scale datasets, and enabling real-time captioning remain significant. We introduce MIRA-CAP (Memory-Integrated Retrieval-Augmented Captioning), a novel framework designed to address these issues through three core innovations: a cross-modal memory bank, adaptive dataset pruning, and a streaming decoder.
