Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly aggressive and clinically challenging subtype of breast cancer, lacking the expression of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and HER2/neu. The absence of these receptors limits therapeutic options necessitating the exploration of novel treatment strategies. Epigenetic modifications, which include DNA methylation, histone modifications, and microRNA (miRNA) regulation, play a pivotal role in TNBC pathogenesis and represent promising therapeutic targets.

Aging is a complex and multifaceted process involving many epigenetic alterations. One key area of interest in aging research is the role of histone modifications, which can dynamically regulate gene expression. Here, we conducted a pan-tissue analysis of the dynamics of seven key histone modifications during human aging.

Background: Laryngeal cancer is a common head and neck cancer, and its occurrence and development are closely related to a variety of epigenetic modifications. protein arginine methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1) is an important type I protein arginine methyltransferase, which catalyzes the monomethylation and asymmetric dimethylation of arginine and participates in the occurrence and development of a variety of cancers. Current research has found that the expression of PRMT1 is increased in laryngeal carcinoma tissues.

In this study, we characterized a variant hESC (vhESC) line and investigated the molecular mechanisms leading to the drift towards a transformed state. Our findings revealed that vhESCs up-regulate EMT-specific markers, accelerate wound healing, exhibit compromised lineage differentiation, and retain pluripotency gene expression in teratomas.

Wolbachia pipientis are maternally transmitted endosymbiotic bacteria commonly found in arthropods and nematodes. These bacteria manipulate reproduction of the host to increase their transmission using mechanisms, such as cytoplasmic incompatibility, that favor infected female offspring. The underlying mechanisms of reproductive manipulation by W.
