Aim: Bladder cancer is the second most common urological malignancy after prostate cancer. Increase in the post-void residual (PVR) volume may result in an increase in the risk of cancer recurrence.
Methods: Patient demographic data, tumor stage and grade, PVR volume and 2 years follow-up data for recurrence were obtained and evaluated.
Results: One-hundred-and-nineteen patients were subdivided into three groups according to PVR urine volume. The increase of PVR volume was related to short recurrence-free survival (RFS) especially for patients with PVR volume of 60 ml or more.
Conclusion: Low PVR volume in patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer may play a role in reducing cancer recurrence. However further research is needed in this field.

Aim: To investigate the clinical efficacy of transurethral columnar balloon dilation of prostate (TUCBDP) in the treatment of small-volume benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and provide the optimal treatment for the surgical treatment of small volume benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Methods: This retrospective study analyzed 106 patients with small-volume BPH who underwent surgical treatment at the Department of Urology, Xiangya Changde Hospital from December 2023 to January 2024. The patients were divided into two groups based on the type of surgery received: TUCBDP group (n = 53) and transurethral resection of prostate (TURP) group (n = 53), which serves as the control group.

Introduction: With increased access to gender affirming care, the rate of vaginoplasties in the US has risen rapidly. Although some retrospective studies report high rates of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) after gender affirming vaginoplasty, the type and severity of symptoms has not been well-described. The purpose of this study was to prospectively characterize postoperative changes in lower urinary tract function after robotic peritoneal flap vaginoplasty as measured by the American Urological Association Symptom Index questionnaire (AUASI), Urogenital Distress Inventory 6 (UDI6), and additional measures.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the differences in lower urinary tract function and treatment response between non-monosymptomatic nocturnal enuresis (NMNE) pediatric patients with and without constipation.
Method: We retrospectively analyzed pediatric patients diagnosed as NMNE from our enuresis database. Inclusion criteria were children aged 5 years or older with a follow-up duration of at least one month.

Background: Biventricular dysfunction is frequent in patients with repaired tetralogy of Fallot, necessitating routine imaging to monitor for worsening conditions and determine whether procedures like pulmonary valve replacement (PVR) are needed. This study aimed to highlight the parameters of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) and their association with adverse outcomes in the midterm follow-up of these patients.
Methods: This longitudinal study recruited all patients with a history of tetralogy of Fallot total correction (TFTC) who had two CMR images at a minimum three-month interval at Rajaie Center from 2007 through 2017.
