This paper investigates the role of export quality in climate action goal of the sustainable development goals in emerging Asian countries. For this purpose, the empirical model that observes the impact of real GDP, energy use and export quality index on carbon emissions is constructed and is analyzed by ARDL bounds testing approach for the period from 1970 to 2014. We also include the square of real GDP as independent variable to observe the existence of environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis which implies the parabolic relationship between economic growth and environmental degradation. The findings show that increase in export quality leads to a fall in CO emissions for China and India. In contrast, the effect of increasing export quality increases CO emissions in Thailand and the Philippines. Lastly, our asymmetric causality results show that the positive shocks of export quality causes positive shocks of CO emissions in Thailand and Indonesia. Furthermore, we found that positive export quality shocks cause negative CO emissions shocks in India while negative export quality shocks cause positive CO emissions shocks in China. We also confirm the inverted U-shaped EKC hypothesis in China and Thailand.

Background: Outdoor air pollution is a global issue which poses a significant health risk. Modern neuroimaging techniques have revealed the detrimental impact of air pollution on brain health, in particular the development and progression of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease (AD). We conducted a systematic review to evaluate the effects of long-term (months to years) exposure to outdoor air pollutants on the development and progression of AD using neuroimaging data.

New advancements made possible by Starlink and the internet of things (IoT) for RPM present new opportunities to connect people separated by geography and diverse cultural variations which includes over 700 languages and dialects. Alzheimer's disease has increased by 87% from 2019 to 2022 and similar challenges in the United States apply to Indonesia; the cost of care, nurse shortage, and large aging population.

Background: While age is the most significant risk factor for dementia, increased awareness and understanding of other modifiable risk factors of dementia, coupled with proactive lifestyle behavior changes, hold the potential to prevent dementia and improve the quality of life for older adults. Defy Dementia is a public health initiative, led by the Baycrest Academy for Research and Education (BARE) and funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada. It involves curating, co-designing, and disseminating a series of knowledge products to raise public awareness of dementia prevention and reduce stigma associated with dementia.
