Background: Only one trachelid species, Chen, Peng & Zhao, 1995 has been recorded from Jiangxi Province to date.
New Information: A new species, Liu, , is described from Jiangxi Province of China, based on both sexes. Morphological illustrations are provided and its distribution is mapped.
