The genus Verma is presented including six new species from China namely Qiao & Xu, Qiao & Xu, Qiao & Xu, Qiao & Xu, Qiao & Xu, and Qiao & Xu, Qiao 2015, is considered as a junior synonym of (Zhang Zhong & Zhang 1992), Two species Verma and (David Rajasingh & Narayanan) are recorded for the first time in China. The genus is mainly distributed in East Asia and is represented by 15 species in the world of which 12 are found in China. Keys to the species of are given.
