Capacitive humidity sensors have been used for human health monitoring, but their performance may be poor in terms of sensitivity and response time, because of limitations in sensing materials and insufficient knowledge about sensing mechanisms. Herein, a new combination of humidity sensing materials to assemble thin-film based capacitive-type sensors is proposed by using PA-doped polybenzimidazole (PA-PBI) as an electrolyte and laser-carbonized PA-PBI as a carbon electrode (PA-PBI-C). Based on PA involved laser scribing, the flexible sensor can reach excellent humidity-sensing performances with an ultrahigh sensitivity (1.16 × 10 pF RH%, where RH represents the relative humidity), a superior linearity ( = 0.9982), a fast response time (0.72 s), and a low hysteresis in a wide RH range from 1% to 95%. By further studying P-O decorated porous carbon electrode with superhydrophilicity and the solid-state dielectric electrolyte featured by a high dielectric constant, a synergistic sensing mechanism consisting of a "Water reservoir" and a "Bridge" is established to support advanced health-monitoring applications such as the respiration patterns and skin condition where both sensitivity and response time are critical.

Background: Axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is a chronic inflammatory rheumatic condition affecting the axial skeleton, leading to pain, stiffness, and fatigue. While biologic therapies have improved clinical management, many patients experience partial or no responses, resulting in delays in disease control. Additionally, the risk of adverse events and increased costs remains a concern.

Introduction: Anakinra has dramatically improved the management of systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (SJIA) over the last decade. Nevertheless, management remains inconsistent; corticosteroids are still frequently used. We analyzed the course of SJIA in children treated with anakinra according to the time of treatment initiation after disease onset.

Breast cancer (BC) commonly expresses estrogen receptors (ERs); hence, endocrine therapy targeting ERs is considered an effective treatment. Tamoxifen (TAM) resistance is an essential clinical complication leading to cancer progression and metastasis. This study investigated MicroRNAs (miRNAs) potentially implicated in drug resistance (miR-182-3p, miR-382-3p) or sensitivity (miR-93, miR- 142- 3p).

There is a substantial time gap between when parents develop concerns about their child (ages 1-2) and when they receive a diagnosis of autism (ages 3-5), delaying the onset of critical interventions. Few studies have examined how the timing, type, and quantity of early parental concerns are associated with age of diagnosis. The aims of this study were to describe characteristics of parents' concerns in a large community-based sample and explore how characteristics of concerns relate to age of diagnosis.

Infectious diseases, especially respiratory infections, have been significant threats to human health. Therefore, it is essential to develop rapid, portable, and highly sensitive diagnostic methods for their control. Herein, a short-time preamplified, one-pot clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) nucleic acid detection method (SPOC) is developed by combining the rapid recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) with CRISPR-Cas12a to reduce the mutual interference and achieve facile and rapid molecular diagnosis.
