Importance: Epidemiological studies suggest that lifestyle factors are associated with risk of dementia. However, few studies have examined the association of diet and waist to hip ratio (WHR) with hippocampus connectivity and cognitive health.
Objective: To ascertain how longitudinal changes in diet quality and WHR during midlife are associated with hippocampal connectivity and cognitive function in later life.

Objective: This study aims to assess the correlation between cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) imaging markers and the risk of Alzheimer's disease (AD) through a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Methods: In July 2024, two researchers independently conducted a thorough literature search across databases such as PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library. The selected studies investigated the correlations between white matter hyperintensities (WMHs), cerebral microbleeds (CMBs), lacunar infarction (LI), and enlarged perivascular spaces (EPVS) and the risk of AD.

Unlabelled: is to develop and implement an algorithm for image analysis in brain tumors (glioblastoma and metastasis) based on diffusion kurtosis MRI images (DKI) for the assessment of anisotropic changes in brain tissues in the directions from the tumor to the intact (as shown by the standard MRI data) white matter, which will enable generating individual tumor invasion maps.
Materials And Methods: A healthy volunteer and two patients (one with glioblastoma and the other with a single metastasis of small cell lung cancer) were examined by DKI obtaining 12 parametric kurtosis maps for each participant.
Results: During the investigation, we have developed an algorithm of DKI analysis and plotting the profile of tissue parameters in the direction from the tumor towards the unaffected white matter according to the data of standard MRI.

Chronic vestibular migraine (CVM) and cerebrovascular insufficiency are recognized contributors to cognitive impairment. Vestibular dysfunction affects spatial orientation and balance, while compromised cerebral perfusion impacts neuronal health. This study explores the combined pathological effects of these conditions and their role in cognitive decline and dementia.
