Hidradenoma is a multilobular, nonencapsulated, well-circumscribed dermal nodule that may involve the epidermis and extend into the subcutaneous fat. The etiology and prevalence of nodular hidradenoma are not well defined, but it is noted that it can occur spontaneously or traumatically.
