The paper presents the original results of cyclic testing of materials that are identical in chemical composition but produced by two different technologies: conventional metallurgy and additive manufacturing. For the aluminium alloy AlSi10Mg and the austenitic steel 316L, tensile curves, tension-compression and torsion alternating fatigue curves are experimentally obtained and presented. The experimental results are compared for two fabrication technologies-conventional metallurgy and additive DLMS technology.

Introduction: This study investigated the prevalence of maxillary transverse deficiency (MTD) in Chinese children and adolescents using revised Andrews' Element III analysis and studied transverse developmental characteristics of the maxillomandibular complex.
Methods: Plaster or digital casts of 794 participants aged 7-18 years were evaluated. MTD was diagnosed when the maxilla-mandible width difference, represented by the decompensated maxillary and mandibular first molars, exceeded 4 mm.

The liquid state thermophysical properties and amorphous solidification kinetics of Fe_{50-x}Co_{x}Cr_{14}Mo_{14}C_{9}B_{8}Tm_{5} (x=10, 15, 20, and 25) alloys were explored by electromagnetic and electrostatic levitation techniques. It was found that the surface tension of liquid alloys with Fe contents below 30 at. % had a strong temperature dependence.

The indiscriminate use of pesticides in agriculture demands the development of devices capable of monitoring contaminations in food supplies, in the environment and biological fluids. Simplicity, easy handling, high sensitivities, and low limits-of-detection (LOD) and quantification are some of the required properties for these devices. In this work, we evaluated the effect of incorporating gold nanoparticles into indigo carmine-doped polypyrrole during the electropolymerization of films for use as an acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzyme-based biosensor.
