The authors have developed a method of separate determination of the volumes of the input and output portions of the right ventricle by findings of cineangiocardiography made in two projections. The volume of the input portion had been shown to be 1,23 times as great as that of the output portion. A comparison of measurements of the volumes of the input and output portions and the total right ventricle as a whole will reveal their participation in the compensation of congenital and acquired heart diseases.

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder principally manifested as motor disabilities. In clinical practice, diagnostic rating scales are available for broadly measuring, classifying, and characterizing the disease progression. Nonetheless, these scales depend on the specialist's expertise, introducing a high degree of subjectivity.

The integration of flexible electronics and photonics has the potential to create revolutionary technologies, yet it has been challenging to marry electronic and photonic components on a single polymer device, especially through high-volume manufacturing. Here, we present a robust, chiplet-level heterogeneous integration of polymer-based circuits (CHIP), where several post-fabricated, ultrathin, polymer electronic, and optoelectronic chiplets are vertically bonded into one single chip at room temperature and then shaped into application-specific form factors with monolithic Input/Output (I/O). As a demonstration, we applied this process and developed a flexible 3D-integrated optrode with high-density arrays of microelectrodes for electrical recording and micro light-emitting diodes (μLEDs) for optogenetic stimulation while with unprecedented integration of additional temperature sensors for bio-safe operations and shielding designs for optoelectronic artifact prevention.

Carbon emission research based on input-output tables (IOTs) has received attention, but data quality issues persist due to inconsistencies between the sectoral scopes of energy statistics and IOTs. Specifically, China's official energy data are reported at the industry level, whereas IOTs are organized by product sectors. Valid IOT-based environmental models require consistent transformation from industry-level to product-level emissions.

Arthrospira platensis (spirulina) is pivotal to the global microalgae industry, valued for its nutritional and bioactive properties. However, its sustainable production is challenged by freshwater scarcity and biological contaminants. This study introduces a salinity-biostimulants strategy to adapt a freshwater spirulina strain, CBD05, to near-seawater salinity (3 %).

Composing regional total income jointly with government income, private income represents levels of development and affluence from the household perspective. Considering the need for fair carbon emission reduction responsibility distributions among regions with divergent income levels, private income-embedded emission (PIEE) and the inter-regional inequalities remain to be explored. Combining input-output analysis and the Gini coefficient, this study traces the sources and disposals of regional private income in China, as well as their embedded carbon emission flow, and quantifies the distribution and inequality of PIEE across industrial sectors and provincial regions.
