Recent progress studies in light of wireless communication systems mainly centred around two focuses: zero-energy consumption and ultra-reliable and low-latency communication (URLLC). Among various cutting-edge areas, exploiting ambient backscatter communication (Backcom) has recently been devised as one of the foremost solutions for achieving zero energy consumption through the viability of ambient radio frequency. Meanwhile, using short-packet communication (SPC) is the cheapest way to reach the goal of URLLCs.

Stress Wave Propagation in a Rayleigh-Love Rod with Sudden Cross-Sectional Area Variations Impacted by a Striker Rod.

HCK Geophysical, 9F-3, No. 79, Section 2, Roosevelt Road, Taipei 10646, Taiwan.

This paper presents an in-depth study of the stress wave behavior propagating in a Rayleigh-Love rod with sudden cross-sectional area variations. The analytical solutions of stress waves are derived for the reflection and transmission propagation behavior at the interface of the cross-sectional area change in the rod, considering inertia and Poisson's effects on the rod material. Examples solved using the finite element method are provided to verify the correctness of the analytical results.

This study contributes to the banking literature by examining the effect of bank liquidity creation on bank risk-taking behaviors in Vietnam - a transition economy. Our data sample comprises 367 observations of 33 Vietnamese commercial banks from 2009 to 2020. We employ the Bias-corrected Least-Squares with Dummy Variables (LSDVC) estimation, which performs better than other dynamic estimators in small and unbalanced panel samples.
