Background: Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is ideal for denture bases but is prone to biofilm accumulation, leading to denture stomatitis (DS), often involving . Dimethylaminohexadecyl methacrylate (DMAHDM) and 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) are introduced into dental materials for their antimicrobial and protein-repellent properties. This study investigates the effects of incorporating dimethylaminohexadecyl methacrylate (DMAHDM) and 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) into heat-polymerized (HP) and 3D-printed (3DP) denture base resins on microbial adhesion and cytotoxicity.

In this study, we aimed to explore the feasibility of utilizing polypropylene (PP) and natural rubber (NR) blends as alternative materials for rubber dam clamps in dentistry. The hardness of various PP/NR blend ratios was compared to the commercial product SoftClamp. Selected blend ratios exhibiting hardness values resembling rigid plastic were further evaluated for hardness and tensile strength after undergoing 1, 5, and 10 autoclave cycles.

To date, there have been no studies on the dynamics of areas of pain, paraesthesia and hypoesthesia after the use of various transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation in the treatment of meralgia paresthetica. In this pilot study, we observed 68 patients with obesity-related bilateral meralgia paresthetica. Pain syndrome, paraesthesia symptoms, and hypoesthesia were evaluated using 10-point scores.

The aim of this study was to evaluate, in vitro, the void formation and marginal adaptation in Class II cavities restored with preheated and injected bulk-fill resin composites. Eighty third molars received Class II cavities on their mesial and distal surfaces and were randomly distributed into eight groups (n = 10) according to material (Filtek Universal-control, incremental technique; Filtek One Bulk-Fill; Admira Fusion X-tra Bulk-Fill; VisCalor Bulk-Fill) and the temperature of the material (24 °C or 68 °C). The restored teeth were scanned using a SkyScan 1173 microtomograph.

To investigate the effect of different sandblasting settings on the shear bond strength (SBS) in the repair of resin composite, specimens (resin composite, enamel, and dentin; each group = 16) were sandblasted by varying the parameters of air pressure (0.2/0.3/0.
