Photocatalytic antimicrobials, as emerging advanced oxidative antimicrobial materials, have the advantages of low price and long-lasting antimicrobial properties. Nevertheless, with catalysts increasingly trending toward nanoscale dimensions, the environmental challenge of catalyst recycling becomes more pronounced. In this paper, we propose utilizing one-dimensional carbon fiber as a substrate, employing the nucleating agent method to induce Titanium dioxide (TiO) growth on the fiber surface.

Despite considerable advances in artificial bone tissues, the absence of neural network reconstruction in their design often leads to delayed or ineffective bone healing. Hence, we propose a multilayer hierarchical lithium (Li)-doped titanium dioxide structure, constructed through microarc oxidation combined with alkaline heat treatment. This structure can induce the sustained release of Li ions, mimicking the environment of neurogenic osteogenesis characterized by high brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) expression.

Dye released by industrial is one of the main known pollutants in wastewater, which is harmfully affected to the human health. Adsorptive method by absorbents and photocatalytic degradation technique are advanced technologies to remove dyes from wastewater. However, the single technique mentioned above has imperfections limiting its application.

The large volume expansion effect and unstable solid electrolyte interface films of SiO-based anode materials have hindered their commercial development. It has been shown that composite doping is a general strategy to solve critical problems. In this study, TiO-doped core-shell SiOTiO@C composites were created using the sol-gel method.

Hierarchical aggregates of anatase TiO nanoribbons/nanosheets (TiO-NR) and anatase TiO nanoparticles (TiO-NP) were produced through a one-step solvothermal reaction using acetic acid or ethanol and titanium isopropoxide as solvothermal reaction systems. The crystalline structure, crystalline phase, and morphologies of synthesized materials were characterized using several techniques. According to our findings, both TiO-NR and TiO-NP were found to have polycrystalline structures, with pure anatase phases.
