This work connects the calorimetric responses of different rubber-resin blends with varying resin contents with their alpha relaxation dynamics. We used differential scanning calorimetry and broadband dielectric spectroscopy to characterize the calorimetric and dielectric responses of styrene-butadiene, polybutadiene, and polyisoprene with different resin contents. To model the results, we used the Gordon-Taylor equation combined with an extension of the Adam-Gibbs approach.

The synthesis of poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) (pNIPA)-based polymers via the surfactant-free precipitation polymerization (SFPP) method produced thermosensitive nanospheres with a range of distinctive physicochemical properties. Nano- and microparticles were generated using various initiators, significantly influencing particle characteristics, including the hydrodynamic diameter (D), which varied from 87.7 nm to 1618.

Freezing temperatures impose significant constraints on plant growth and productivity. While cold tolerance mechanisms have been extensively studied in model species, the molecular basis of freezing tolerance in naturally adapted plants remains underexplored. , an alpine plant with a strong freezing tolerance, provides a valuable model for investigating these adaptive mechanisms.

In hot and humid work environments, construction workers can experience heat stress and heat-related illnesses (HRIs). While several studies have investigated engineering and administrative control methods to prevent certain heat stress risk factors, a comprehensive understanding of all existing risk factors and their corresponding control strategies is still lacking. It is crucial to identify gaps in current control strategies and develop a safety management framework for effective heat stress control by implementing existing measures.

This study selected three approved folate sources-folic acid (FA), L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (MTFA), and calcium 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (CMTFA)-to explore their interaction mechanisms with soy protein isolate (SPI) through spectrofluorometric analysis and molecular docking simulations. We investigated how these interactions influence the structural and physicochemical stability of folates and SPI. Three folates spontaneously bound to SPI, forming complexes, resulting in a decrease of approximately 30 kJ·mol in Gibbs free energy and an association constant (K) of 10 L·mol.
