Background: Epstein-Barr virus-positive (EBV) inflammatory follicular dendritic cell sarcoma (IFDCS) is a rare stroma-derived neoplasm of lymphoid tissues. Because of its nonspecific clinical and imaging findings, making a correct diagnosis at the time of initial diagnosis is challenging.
