Understanding the preoperative risk factors for successful rotator cuff repair (RCR) and ways to optimize these factors is an evolving area of study. The Rotator Cuff Healing Index and other proxy risk factors for failed rotator cuff healing have implicated significant fatty infiltration, muscular atrophy, advanced chronological age, tear size and retraction, and ultimately, osteoporosis. Although structural (or biological) augmentation and tendon transfer have been proposed as solutions for the alarmingly high rate of failure after primary RCR, other options may preferentially focus on the enthesis and underlying osseous footprint.

This article discusses the clinical value of Pegylated Interferon (PEG-IFN) -2a combined with entecavir or tenofovir in the treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) genotype C patients. 78 patients with CHB genotype C were divided into three groups: control group, entecavir group, and tenofovir group according to different treatment methods. The efficacy and adverse reaction (AR) of the three groups are observed during 12 months of treatment and after drug withdrawal, and the clinical efficacy and safety of the three treatment methods are evaluated.

A retrospective cohort study to explore the clinical efficacy and safety evaluation of calcitriol combined with bisphosphonates in the therapy of postmenopausal osteoporosis is conducted. The postmenopausal osteoporosis sufferers admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to June 2021 are retrospectively collected and divided into a contrast set and a study set, with 60 cases in each set. For the contrast set, all sufferers are treated with bisphosphonates.
