The global health burden associated with exposure to heat is a grave concern and is projected to further increase under climate change. While physiological studies have demonstrated the role of humidity alongside temperature in exacerbating heat stress for humans, epidemiological findings remain conflicted. Understanding the intricate relationships between heat, humidity, and health outcomes is crucial to inform adaptation and drive increased global climate change mitigation efforts.

Background: Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy can determine characteristics such as cell density, size, and shape. The development of an electrical impedance-based medical device to estimate acute ischemic stroke (AIS) clot characteristics could improve stroke patient outcomes by informing clinical decision making.
Objectives: To assess how well electrical impedance combined with machine learning identified red blood cell (RBC)-rich composition of AIS clots , which is associated with a successfully modified first-pass effect.
In this paper, we introduce an innovative therapeutic approach for managing rectovaginal fistulas (RVF), by combining the modified Martius flap and micro-fragmented adipose tissue (MFAT) enriched with mesenchymal stem cells (MSC). This novel approach aims to deal with the difficulties associated with RVF, a medically complex condition with a lack of effective treatment options. We present the case of a 45-year-old female patient with a 15-year history of Crohn's disease (CD).
