Objectives: To determine the prevalence of self-reported delayed adverse events (DAEs), major AEs, and flares following COVID-19 vaccinations among patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases (AIRDs) in Malaysia.
Methodology: An electronically validated survey from the COVID-19 vaccination in autoimmune diseases (COVAD) study group was distributed in July 2021 to patients with autoimmune diseases and healthy controls (HCs). The survey collected data on DAEs (any AE that persisted or occurred after 7 days of vaccination), any early or delayed major adverse events (MAEs), and flares following COVID-19 vaccination.

Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) includes conditions with autoimmune genesis, which are manifested by attacks of optic neuritis (ON) and transverse myelitis (TM), and also express aquaporin 4 (NMO-IgG) or myelin oligo-endocytic glycoprotein (MOGAb) antibodies. In rare cases, the disease may also have a clinical presentation with only TM, without ON or with ON, without TM. These conditions are also included in the spectrum.

Current guidelines recommend systematic screening for rheumatic diseases (RDs), including antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), in patients with recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL). However, these recommendations are based on limited evidence, as data on the prevalence of RD in this specific population remain scarce. In particular, the impact of the recent update to the ACR/EULAR classification criteria for APS on the prevalence of RD among RPL patients has yet to be clarified.

Objective: To describe the treatment outcomes of patients who underwent Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA) for Central Vein Occlusive Disease (CVOD) in end-stage kidney disease and determine the association between patient profile and treatment outcomes.
Methods: A single-institution, retrospective review of patients aged 18 and above with end-stage kidney disease who underwent PTA for CVOD in the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) from January 1, 2013, to December 31, 2022, was performed. These patients' demographic and clinical profiles were evaluated using means, frequencies, and percentages.

Background: This study aimed to assess the diagnosis of macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) at the onset of active childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (cSLE), which is under-researched, and to compare the characteristics of cSLE with and without MAS, hypothesizing the existence of possible predictors of MAS in active cSLE.
Methods: This study enrolled 157 patients diagnosed with cSLE, with or without MAS, from Nanjing Medical University between January 2018 and May 2023. Data analysis was performed using an independent samples -test or the Mann-Whitney -test, the test, the Youden index to determine the optimal cutoff values for diagnosis, and binary logistic regression analysis to determine the predicted probability.
