Composite materials are materials with anisotropic properties that are created by combining several different components in a way that allows the best qualities of each component to be used. In this paper, raw materials were used to obtain composite materials of the type TPU/PP/BaTiO powder. The thermogravimetric analysis, dynamic differential calorimetry, and scanning electron microscopy were carried out. The preliminary tests for making specific filaments for 3D printing with a diameter of 1.75 mm were carried out on a laboratory extruder. The purpose of the experiment was to develop the optimal extrusion temperatures and the speed of drawing the filament to make filaments with rigorously constant dimensions, and the variation in diameter had a maximum of 10%.

Objectives: This study aimed to verify if composites containing dicalcium phosphate dihydrate particles (DCPD) are able to induce dentin remineralization in vitro. Additionally, the mechanical properties of the materials were tested.

Methods: Four composites with 50 vol% inorganic content and 1 BisGMA: 1 TEGDMA (mols) were prepared, with different DCPD:glass ratios (50:0, 40:10, 30:20 and 0:50).

The structure and active components of the filling material play a critical role in the contamination remediation performance of permeable reactive barriers. However, current methods lack a comprehensive understanding of the structural evolution and long-term performance of these materials during remediation processes. This study utilizes column experiments combined with spectral induced polarization (SIP) monitoring to investigate the effectiveness of zero-valent iron (ZVI), activated carbon (AC), and their composite with sand in removing Cr(VI).

Iron-dependent denitrification has been substantially investigated worldwide due to the advantages of low cost, high efficiency, and synchronized phosphorous removal. However, differences in nitrogen metabolism processes with different iron-based materials as electron donors have not been systematically studied. This study investigated the efficacy of nitrogen and phosphate removal using various iron-based materials as electron donors.

One of the most effective ways to solve the problems caused by the presence of steel implants in the body is to apply a coating to them. This study aims to develop and optimize composite coatings of magnesium oxide (MgO), 58S bioactive glass (BG), and N-carboxymethyl chitosan (N-CMC) on stainless steel (SS316L) substrates using the electrophoretic deposition (EPD) method. The synthesized materials were characterized using FTIR, XRD, and SEM to confirm their structure and morphology prior to coating.

The development of flexible, intelligent, and lightweight optoelectronic devices based on flexible transparent conductive electrodes (FTCEs) utilizing silver nanowires (AgNWs) has garnered increasing attention. However, achieving low surface resistance, strong adhesion to the flexible substrate, low surface roughness, and green degradability remains a challenge. Here, a composite electrode combining natural polymer cellulose nanofibers (TCNFs) with AgNWs was prepared.
