Background: Multispecialty Interprofessional Team (MINT) Memory Clinics build capacity for dementia care within primary care. This presentation will provide an overview of the MINT care model and results of a process evaluation of the implementation of the model in three provinces in Canada using the Research Medical Council framework for evaluating complex interventions.

Methods: 178 healthcare providers (HCP) were trained to establish 10 MINT clinics across three Canadian provinces.

Background And Objectives: Institutional racism causes worse health outcomes for patients of racial/ethnic minority groups via limited access to health care, disparities in quality of care delivered, and lack of physician diversity. Increased attention to racism in 2020 led many medical institutions to examine their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. In the context of increased national attention to health equity, this study sought to investigate the current status of DEI infrastructure by evaluating leadership and support related to DEI in family medicine departments in 2020 and 2021.

The epidural injection is a medical intervention to inject therapeutics directly into the vicinity of the spinal cord for pain management. Because of its proximity to the spinal cord, imprecise insertion of the needle may result in irreversible damage to the nerves or spinal cord. This study explores enhancing procedural accuracy by integrating a telerobotic system and augmented reality (AR) assistance.
