Persons who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) are diverse in gender, gender identification, sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, and socioeconomic status. They face unique disparities in healthcare. This article discusses how to create a welcoming healthcare environment for these individuals.
