As a unique nanomachine, DNA Walker can move continuously along a specific orbit to amplify signal. Therefore, based on DNA Walker and endonuclease assisted signal amplification strategy, a novel dual-mode visual electrochemical aptasensor was constructed for the detection of Pb. Ceric dioxide@mesoporous carbon (CeO/CS)@AuNPs not only could improve the conductivity of sensing interface but also could fix the aptamer. DNA Walker moved on the surface of the electrode to realize the pairing with the Ag-γFeO/cDNA probe, forming a special base sequence that could be spliced by the Nb.BbvCI. Under the action of endonuclease Nb.BbvCI, the Ag-γFeO/cDNA probe was continuously sheared and the amount on the electrode was decreased to amplify the signal. Besides, the nanoenzyme of Ag-γFeO could catalyze 3'3'5'5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) to blue color realizing the visual detection of Pb. The sensor has been successfully applied to the visual and accurate rapid detection of Pb in aquatic products. The fabricated method of the sensor open up a new way for visual and accurate the detection of environmental pollutants.

The protozoan parasite Neospora caninum is an important cause of abortion in cattle. Infection occurs horizontally by ingestion of oocysts shed by canids or vertically, from an infected dam to the foetus, and may result in abortion, stillbirth, or the birth of subclinically infected offspring. We estimated the occurrence of N.

The association between microRNAs and various diseases, especially cancer, has been established in recent years, indicating that miRNAs can potentially serve as biomarkers for these diseases. Determining miRNA concentrations in biological samples is crucial for disease diagnosis. Nevertheless, the stem-loop reverse transcription quantitative PCR method, the gold standard for detecting miRNA, has great challenges in terms of high costs and enzyme limitations when applied to clinical biological samples.

Marmalada hoverfly, Episyrphus balteatus De Geer (Diptera: Syrphidae), is a cosmopolitan fly species providing pest control and pollination services. As wheat aphids cause significant losses to global wheat production, a systematic evaluation of the predatory potential and biocontrol service functions of E. balteatus in wheat ecosystems was undertaken.

Microbial species must compete for space and nutrients to persist in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, and our understanding of the complex pathobiont-microbiota interactions is far from complete. Klebsiella pneumoniae, a problematic, often drug-resistant nosocomial pathogen, can colonize the GI tract asymptomatically, serving as an infection reservoir. To provide insight on how K.
