Hilar Cholangiocarcinoma (h-CCA) originates from the epithelial cells, which characters as longitudinal growth along the bile ducts and invasion of peripheral vascular nerves. Due to the tumours insidious progression and usually become advanced stage disease at presentation, patients' mortality could parallel incidence rates. For patients who are not amenable to resection, systemic therapy and palliative treatment become the way to go.

Background: Gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists (GnRHa) are commonly used in assisted reproduction technology (ART) cycles to prevent a luteinising hormone (LH) surge during controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) prior to planned oocyte retrieval, thus optimising the chances of live birth. We compared the benefits and risks of the different GnRHa protocols used.
Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of different GnRHa protocols used as adjuncts to COH in women undergoing ART.

Background: Treatment outcomes for acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) have improved with all-trans-retinoic acid and arsenic trioxide, yet relapse remains a concern, especially in pediatric patients. The prognostic value of minimal residual disease (MRD) post-induction and the impact of arsenic levels during induction on MRD are not fully understood.
Objectives: To evaluate the relationship between post-induction MRD levels and relapse-free survival (RFS) in pediatric APL patients, and to investigate the correlation between blood arsenic concentration levels during induction therapy and MRD status.

Study Question: Is elevated plasma molybdenum level associated with increased risk for idiopathic premature ovarian insufficiency (POI)?
Summary Answer: Elevated plasma molybdenum level is associated with an increased risk of idiopathic POI through vascular endothelial injury and inhibition of granulosa cell proliferation.
What Is Known Already: Excessive molybdenum exposure has been associated with ovarian oxidative stress in animals but its role in the development of POI remains unknown.
Study Design, Size, Duration: Case-control study of 30 women with idiopathic POI and 31 controls enrolled from August 2018 to May 2019.
