In this paper, we first report the complete mtDNA sequence of with the main aim of providing a basis for further researches of this species. Assembly circular mitogenome was 16,534 bp long encoded 13 protein-coding genes, two ribosomal RNA genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, and one control region. The gene nucleotide composition was estimated to be 28.1% A, 25.2% T, 18.6% G, 28.1% C. A maximum-likelihood (ML) phylogenetic tree was reconstructed using the 13 concatenated mitochondrial protein-coding genes of and other 19 species of the subfamily Chedrinae. Result of the phylogenetic analysis revealed that was well grouped with This study could enrich genetic resources and be helpful to studies on evolution and conservation genetics for

As part of an ongoing effort to generate comprehensive resources for the experimental analysis of fourth chromosome genes in Drosophila melanogaster, the Fourth Chromosome Resource Project has used CRISPR mutagenesis with single guide RNAs to isolate mutations in 62 of the 80 fourth chromosome, protein-coding genes. These mutations were induced on a fourth chromosome bearing a basal FRT insertion to facilitate experimental approaches involving FLP recombinase-induced mitotic recombination. To permit straightforward comparisons among mutant stocks, most of the mutations were generated on isogenic fourth chromosomes, which were then crossed into a common genetic background.

This study aimed to elucidate ambiguous diagnostic traits in traditional taxonomy and examined phylogenetic relationships among genera by sequencing mitochondrial genomes from 16 species. The lengths of the mitochondrial genomes ranged from 14,532 to 15,280 bp, exhibiting an AT content of 77.
