ADJUVANT TREATMENTS FOR ENDOMETRIAL CANCER Primary treatment for endometrial carcinoma is surgical. Adjuvant treatment is based on risk profile according to histological type, grade, lymphovascular involvement, FIGO stage and genomic profile. Low-risk patients do not need further treatment and intermediate-risk patients may benefit from brachytherapy. Radiation therapy (for pelvic control) and chemotherapy (for metastatic control) may be discussed for high-intermediate risk patients. For high-risk patients, chemotherapy should be given, most often with radiation therapy.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: The classic TCM prescription, Shoutai Wan (STW), is extensively used in clinical settings to manage threatened miscarriage and Recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA). The complexity of pregnancy physiology, coupled with diverse etiologies, and the specificity of energy metabolism for normal embryo attachment and development,pose challenges to clinical diagnosis and treatment. Endometriosis (EMS) is a prevalent gynecological condition characterized by the presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterus, often leading to secondary dysmenorrhea (SD), chronic pelvic pain and infertility. This review explores the intricate connection between EMS- associated pain and SD, focusing on the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying dysmenorrhea in EMS. Key contributors to pain include inflammation, aberrant immune responses, neurogenic inflammation, peritoneal irritation, peripheral sensitization, central sensitization and cross-organ sensitization.

At present, clinical treatment using sodium hyaluronate hydrogel injection is limited by its relatively low fluidity, short-term retention, and insufficient bioactive ingredients, so it is necessary to develop an advanced healing-promoting hydrogel. The modulation of the microenvironment by presents a bioactive component that can facilitate the regeneration of the functional layer.
