Radix Astragali (RA) is an important Traditional Chinese Medicine widely used in the treatment of various diseases, such as pneumonia, atherosclerosis, diabetes, kidney and liver fibrosis. The role of isoflavonoids from RA in the treatment of liver injury remains unclear. The study aimed to explore hepatoprotective and anti-inflammatory effects of isoflavonoids from . Network pharmacological analysis showed that RA had a multi-target regulating effect on alleviating liver injury and inhibiting inflammation through its active ingredients, among which isoflavones were closely related to its key molecular targets. The anti-inflammatory and liver protection effects of isoflavonoids of RA were investigated using lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced RAW 264.7 cells and LPS/D-galactosamine (D-gal)-induced acute liver injury mice . The experimental results showed that methylnissolin (ML) and methylnissolin-3--D-glucoside (MLG) presented more notable anti-inflammatory effects. Both of them suppressed the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as iNOS, COX-2, IL-1, IL-6, and TNF- in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells. investigation demonstrated that ML markedly meliorated liver injury in LPS/D-gal-induced mice. Western blot results revealed that ML and MLG down-regulated the expression of proinflammatory cytokines NF-B signaling pathway. The isoflavonoids, methylnissolin (ML), and methylnissolin-3--D-glucoside (MLG), play a vital role in the hepatoprotective and anti-inflammatory effects of RA.

Background: Postoperative acute kidney injury (AKI) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) following pediatric liver transplantation (PLT) have not been comprehensively studied. This study aimed to evaluate the correlation between AKI and both 1-year CKD and mortality.
Methods: This retrospective study included 132 children aged between 3 months and 12 years who underwent PLT between 2017 and 2021.

Isoniazid and rifampicin co-therapy are the main causes of anti-tuberculosis drug-induced liver injury (ATB-DILI) and acute liver failure, seriously threatening human health. However, its pathophysiology is not fully elucidated. Growing evidences have shown that fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) play a critical role in diverse aspects of liver pathophysiology.

Background: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has developed as a leading public wellness challenge as a result of changes in dietary patterns. Unfortunately, there is still a lack of effective pharmacotherapy methods for NAFLD. Wang's empirical formula (WSF) has demonstrated considerable clinical efficacy in treating metabolic disorders for years.

Background: We sought to define whether and how hepatic ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) as manifested by perioperative aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransaminase (ALT) levels impact long-term outcomes after curative-intent resection of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Patients And Methods: Intrasplenic injection of HCC cells was used to establish a murine model of HCC recurrence with versus without I/R injury. Patients who underwent curative resection for HCC were identified from a multi-institutional derivative cohort (DC) and separate external validation (VC) cohort.

Background: RNA N6-methyladenosine (m6A) regulators are essential for numerous biological processes and are implicated in various diseases. However, the comprehensive role of m6A regulators in the context of liver transplantation (LT) remains poorly understood. This study aimed to illustrate the relationship between m6A regulators and ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) following LT.
