Aims: This paper presents the outcomes and insights gained from the implementation of an Improvement Science program tailored for nursing and midwifery staff within a large local health district in New South Wales. The programme aimed to enhance frontline clinicians' confidence and capability in quality improvement, ultimately improving patient outcomes and safety culture.

Design: Through an explanatory sequential mixed-methods evaluation study, we assessed the programme's effectiveness in building capacity, sustaining practice changes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

This paper addresses the increasing demand for efficient and scalable streaming service applications within the context of edge computing, utilizing NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX hardware and Docker. The study evaluates the performance of DeepStream and Simple Realtime Server, demonstrating that containerized applications can achieve performance levels comparable to traditional physical machines. The results indicate that WebRTC provides superior low-latency capabilities, achieving delays of around 5 s, while HLS typically experiences delays exceeding 10 s.

Hydrogels have the advantages of flexibility, extensibility, and shape adaptability, which means that hydrogel-based triboelectric nanogenerators (H-TENGs) have high flexibility, self-healing abilities, conductivity, and fatigue resistance. They can still operate normally in scenarios involving bending, pressing, stretching, and folding.

This article shows the behavior of the corrosive effect of acid mine water on carbon steel metal alloys. Mining equipment, composed of various steel alloys, is particularly prone to damage from highly acidic water. This corrosion results in material thinning, brittle fractures, fatigue cracks, and ultimately, equipment failure.

We have executed a cost-effective approach to produce a high-performance multifunctional human-machine interface (HMI) humidity sensor. The designed sensors were ecofriendly, flexible, and highly sensitive to variability in relative humidity (%RH) in the surroundings. In this study, we have introduced a humidity sensor by using carbon paper (as both a substrate and sensing material) and a silver (Ag) conductive ink pen.
