For indirect reactions involving more than one intermediate complex from reactant valley to product valley, the reaction dynamics becomes very complicated for researchers due to competition between pathways. In order to resolve the large discrepancy between theoretical and experimental studies on the linear or bent structures of complexes involved in the title endothermic reaction, we performed a crossed-beam experiment at a large collision energy () range with mapping of the velocity distributions of Al reactants and AlO products. We found that the reaction proceeds through different complex-forming mechanisms with the increase of : at low near the reaction threshold, only low impact-parameter collisions contribute through a collinear Al-OCO short-lived complex, and at high , the bent-structure complexes, formed by either isomerization or noncollinear collisions, come into play.

Educational researchers have a long-lasting interest in the strategies examinees employ when responding to items in an assessment. Mixture item response theory (IRT) modeling is a popular class of approaches to studying examinees' item-response strategies. In the present study, we introduce a response time (RT)-based mixture IRT model for flexible modeling of examinee-and-item-specific item-response strategies.

Solar-driven CO reduction to value-added C chemicals is thermodynamically challenging due to multiple complicated steps. The design of active sites and structures for photocatalysts is necessary to improve solar energy efficiency. In this work, atomically dispersed Ru-O sites in RuInO are constructed by interior lattice anchoring of Ru.

Background: Glycholic acid (GCA) can dynamically reflect the process of liver injury, and can be used for early diagnosis and curative effect evaluation of early hepatitis and cirrhosis. The highly sensitive detection of liver injury markers is conducive to a more accurate and effective auxiliary diagnosis of liver diseases. In addition, the low trigger potential helps to avoid more chemical interference and improve the detection sensitivity.

Objectives: Drug-loaded mucoadhesive silk fibroin (SF) microneedle patch can overcome the limitations of low bioavailability and significant pain associated with traditional treatment methods, such as topical application or injection of triamcinolone for oral submucous fibrosis (OSF). However, these systems release the drug too quickly, failing to meet the clinical requirements. This study aims to construct a mucoadhesive SF microneedle patch pre-assembled with silk fibroin nanospheres (SFN) and explore its ability to sustain the release of triamcinolone in the treatment of OSF.

Acute peripheral vestibular dysfunction is associated with a variety of postural and balance disturbances. Vestibular rehabilitation training (VRT) is widely acknowledged as an effective intervention for promoting vestibular compensation. Nevertheless, the broader implementation of early VRT is hindered by an incomplete understanding of its neurobiological mechanisms.
