Background: Global re-emergence of the zoonotic viral disease, Mpox (Monkeypox) has drawn global attention, leading to its declaration as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) by World Health Organisation (WHO) in July 2022. Nigeria is a spotlight identified for the viral disease outbreak, with attention drawn on its transmission to non-endemic nations. With the country's healthcare challenges, care seeking practices particularly amongst low-income urban informal settlement populations are diverse - presenting challenges to both case identification and management during an outbreak.

The landscape of nicotine use in the United States (US) has continued to evolve, with electronic cigarette use (hereafter e-cigarette) becoming more evident in recent years. Patterns of dual nicotine use, or using combustible nicotine in conjunction with e-cigarettes, may increase dependence on nicotine, continued exposure to toxins, and corresponding health risks. One of the most prevalent health problems related to nicotine use is the experience of chronic pain.

Epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD) is a non-contagious viral infection that can cause important economic losses in dairy farms. This study aimed to identify epidemiological and genetic factors influencing the susceptibility and severity of EHD in Holstein dairy cattle during the 2023 outbreak in Spain. Data from 2852 animals in 7 affected farms from 5 Spanish provinces were used.

Background And Objective: Helmet-Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (H-CPAP) is a non-invasive respiratory support that is used for the treatment of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), a severe medical condition diagnosed when symptoms like profound hypoxemia, pulmonary opacities on radiography, or unexplained respiratory failure are present. It can be classified as mild, moderate or severe. H-CPAP therapy is recommended as the initial treatment approach for mild ARDS.
