Background And Aims: Endoscopic ultrasound-guided peripancreatic fluid drainage (EUS-PFD) with on-demand endoscopic necrosectomy, increasingly utilized to manage walled-off necrosis (WON), is associated with substantial morbidity and mortality. This multicenter study aimed to externally validate recently developed quadrant (an abdominal quadrant distribution), necrosis, and infection (QNI) criteria for risk stratification in this setting.
Methods: Of 423 patients with pancreatic fluid collections treated in a large multi-institutional cohort between 2010 and 2020, 212 with available preprocedural computed tomography images were included.

Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is a widely preferred method for treating complex kidney stones, particularly in patients with larger or more complicated stones. Despite its advantages, such as minimal invasiveness and a shorter recovery time, postoperative complications can occur, thereby necessitating effective risk assessment tools to identify at-risk patients. This study evaluated the Estimation of Physiologic Ability and Surgical Stress (E-PASS) scoring system's utility in predicting postoperative complications following standard PCNL.

Purpose: Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) as an established procedure for treatment of large kidney stones, can trigger life threatening complications. Postoperative hemorrhaging is one of the main complications of PCNL. This study investigates the effectiveness of balloon nephrostomy in reducing hemorrhage in the postoperative phase of PCNL.

The tubeless percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is highly favored by endourological urologists for its advantages in patient experience and length of hospital stay. However, there is currently no guideline or consensus that precisely describes tubeless PCNL. This study explores tubeless PCNL from two aspects: patient selection and technical improvements.

Objective: The aim of this study was to describe the technique of percutaneous paravertebral endoscopic decompression for the treatment of far-out syndrome and to analyze the early clinical results of this technique.
Methods: From April 2021 to June 2023, a retrospective study was conducted on patients with far-out syndrome who underwent percutaneous paravertebral endoscopic decompression at Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), and modified MacNab criteria were utilized for the assessment of leg pain, quality of life, and clinical efficacy, respectively.
