Chondroblastoma is a rare benign cartilaginous tumor mostly confined to the epiphyses and apophyses. Cases outside the epiphyseal region are exceedingly rare. Extramedullary chondroblastomas are exceptional; to our knowledge, only two cases qualified as "periosteal chondroblastoma" have been described in the literature.
