In this brief contribution-happily afforded by the 20th anniversary of Physics of Life Reviews-we take the opportunity to reflect on our earlier published paper, which had introduced a theoretical framework, the VIMAP (Vienna Integrated Model of (Top-Down and Bottom-up processes in) Art Perception; (Pelowski et al., [1])) that has come to represent a major basis for organizing, anticipating, and empirically investigating the nuanced, multivariate visual art experience. We look back at the original model and its hypotheses, especially as these regard distinct "outcomes," which we had argued may provide a superstructure of supraordinate, shared varieties of art experience detected across individual meetings of viewer, context, and artworks.

This research is aimed at identifying biological, psychological and social factors that influence the proliferation of chronic health.
Methods And Analysis: This research was carried out in five stages by identifying questions according to PCC and searching for qualitative, quantitative and mixed method studies published from 2010 to 2024 that measured the flourishing of various chronic health conditions.

Background: Research on the parasitic plant genus Cuscuta has flourished since the genomes of several of its species were published. Most of the research revolves around the iconic infection organ that secures the parasite's sustenance: the haustorium. The interest in understanding the structure-function-regulation relationship of the haustorium is based as much on the wish to find ways to keep the parasite under control as on the opportunities it offers to shed light on various open questions in plant biology.

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a common endocrine disorder, affects women of reproductive age, and its adverse consequences affect women throughout their lifespan, from adolescence to postmenopause. The prevalence of depression is much higher in women with PCOS than in healthy controls. Thus, it is recommended that depressive syndrome be screened routinely in all patients with PCOS at diagnosis.

Chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by deep sequencing (ChIP-seq) is widely used to probe the chromatin landscape of transcription factors, chromatin components, and associated proteins. Conventional ChIP normalization procedures robustly allow estimating differences in local enrichment across genomic regions. Yet, inter-sample comparisons can be biased by technical variability and biological differences.
