Background/purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the initial implementation of competency-based medical education (CBME) through entrustable professional activities (EPAs) in Taiwan dental education, focusing on tooth extraction EPAs across undergraduate year (UGY), postgraduate year (PGY), and oral and maxillofacial surgery-residency (OS-R) levels.
Materials And Methods: Using the Delphi method, an advisory team developed and validated three levels of trial EPAs, which were implemented through the Emyway platform. A structured questionnaire was used to evaluate teachers' and students' experiences and satisfaction with Emyway and the EPAs.

Background And Objectives: Multiple studies have shown that visual arts training has improved observational and communication skills and empathy among medical students and resident physicians. The benefits of such training for neurology residents remain scarce. This project aims to introduce neurology residents to the world of visual arts, improve their observational skills, foster their empathic skills, and provide them with a unique space for self-expression.

Background: Microaggressions, subtle and often unintentional acts of hostility, have been recognized as a significant issue in healthcare, adversely affecting learners' emotional and physical well-being. Current strategies for addressing microaggressions are broad frameworks without empirical substantiation that leave learners without a clear direction for intervention. This study introduces a novel scripted, succinct, bystander intervention tool to combat microaggressions.

In this opinion piece, we introduce the concept of ergonomic endocrinology. Ergonomic endocrinology is defined as the bidirectional and multifaceted relationship between endocrine health and dysfunction on one hand, and ergonomic design and engineering on the other. We describe the various domains of ergonomic endocrinology, using the classification rubric of physical, cognitive and organizational ergonomics.
