In this study, we have analyzed the asymmetric influence of tourism activities on economic growth and CO emissions in selected Asian economies covering the time span from 1992 to 2020. The results are estimated using the panel NARDL approach. These results confer that a rise in tourism activities causes the CO emissions to decline and economic growth to rise, whereas a fall in tourism activities causes the CO emissions to rise and economic growth to decline in the long run. Similarly, internet use reduces CO emissions and enhances economic growth in the long run. On the other side, financial efficiency causes CO emissions to fall and economic growth to rise in the long run. The results propose essential policy implications.

Background: Although the information on the validation status of electronic sphygmomanometer (ES) devices in use in health care institutions and households is much more clinically relevant than that of ES models available on the market, it remains insufficient.
Methods: A national survey was conducted across all administrative regions of mainland China to assess the validation status of ESs. Fifty-eight cities were selected with stratification by municipality, provincial capital, and other cities, and health care institutions and households in each city were chosen by convenience to identify ES devices in use according to the study protocol.

Emergency shelters are multifunctional spaces that provide safe refuge, essential life protection, and rescue command for residents in case of urban disaster. These shelters constitute crucial components of urban public safety.
