Chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs) are a class of hazardous pollutants that severely threaten environmental safety and human health. Although the catalytic oxidation technique for CVOCs elimination is effective, enhancing the catalytic efficiency and simultaneously inhibiting the production of organic byproducts is still of great challenge. Herein, Ru-substituted LaMn(Ru)O perovskite with Ru-O-Mn structure and weakened Mn-O bond strength has been developed for catalytic oxidation of chlorobenzene (CB). The formed Ru-O-Mn structure serves as favorable sites for CB adsorption and activation, while the weakening of Mn-O bond strength facilitates the formation of active oxygen species and improves oxygen mobility and catalyst reducibility. Therefore, LaMn(Ru)O exhibits superior low-temperature activity with the temperature of 90% CB conversion decreasing by over 90 °C compared with pristine perovskite, and the deep oxidation of chlorinated byproducts produced in low temperature is also accelerated. Furthermore, the introduction of water vapor into reaction system triggers the process of hydrolysis oxidation that promotes CB destruction and inhibits the generation of chlorinated byproducts, due to the higher-activity *OOH species generated from the dissociated H O reacting with adsorbed oxygen. This work can provide a unique, high-efficiency, and facile strategy for CVOCs degradation and environmental improvement.

A foamed sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) material was prepared under nitric acid conditions. Unlike traditional CMC materials, this foaming method is straightforward and does not require additional foaming agents. Owing to its high stability and load capacity, the foam can realize long-term quantitative storage and load a variety of metal ions; therefore, it has broad application prospects in the field of loaded materials for metal ions.

Due to their markedly distinct protein compositions and structures, goat milk and cow milk display substantially different characteristics. In this study, the quality and composition of goat milk and cow milk were studied after being refrigerated at 4 °C for 7 days, with a particular focus on protein oxidation and aggregation states. The results revealed that alongside increases in acidity, microbial colony count, and hydrolysis, there was a significant change in the protein aggregation state beginning on the second day.

In MCF-7 breast cancer cells, transmembrane prostatic acid phosphatase (TM-PAP) plays a critical role in tumor progression, particularly under hypoxic conditions. In this study, the impact of hypoxia on ectophosphatase activity in MCF-7 cells was examined, and the underlying biological mechanisms that influence the breast cancer microenvironment were explored. Compared with normoxic cells, hypoxic cells presented significant reductions in ectophosphatase activity, indicating that hypoxia altered dephosphorylation processes critical for tumor growth and metastasis.

Pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase (PDK) 1 is one of four isozymes that inhibit the oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate to acetyl-CoA via pyruvate dehydrogenase. PDK activity is elevated in fasting or starvation conditions to conserve carbohydrate reserves. PDK has also been shown to increase mitochondrial fatty acid utilization.
