To improve students' understanding of physical education teaching concepts and help teachers analyze students' cognitive patterns, the study proposes an association learning-based method for understanding physical education teaching concepts using deep learning algorithms, which extracts image features related to teaching concepts using convolutional neural networks. Moreover, a neurocognitive diagnostic model based on hypergraph convolution is constructed to mine the data of students' long-term learning sequences and identify students' cognitive outcomes. The findings revealed that the highest accuracy of the association graph convolutional neural network was 0.

With the rapid expansion of mindfulness and its incorporation into the "third wave" of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), there has been evident confusion about what mindfulness is and how it relates to this broader category of interventions. In this article, I define mindfulness and CBT, and differentiate them while highlighting their substantial overlap. Specifically, I discuss the Buddhist Psychological Model and how it relates to the foundational cognitive model, demonstrating the common threads that run across these seemingly disparate philosophies.

Aims: Health care transition (HCT) to adult care and young adult disease self-management is a multi-step process involving three major stakeholders - the adolescent, the caregiver, and the provider. Preparation gaps exist within each of these stakeholder groups. This paper presents the development of the Intervention to Promote Autonomy and Competence in Transition-aged Youth (IPACT), a multi-level (adolescent, caregiver, provider), multi-modal (interactive skill building sessions, educational materials, videos) intervention to address gaps in all three stakeholder groups simultaneously and help support achieving the three core elements of HCT planning.

Theorising masculinity, ageing, and the lived body: the case of prostate cancer.

Cult Health Sex

December 2024

Department of Education, Communication and Learning, University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden.

This article conceptualises how masculinity and masculine ideals are played out in relation to prostate cancer treatment and its side-effects, offering a heuristic and theoretical perspective with which to make sense of the complex interrelationship between lived gendered bodies and social structures. With the support of three case studies of older men treated for prostate cancer, the article explores how the concept of hegemonic masculinity can be used to analyse the ill and ageing body. A phenomenologically informed approach to the body, which illustrates how masculinity is lived and experienced through certain body schemas, is used.

Graph-based event schema induction in open-domain corpus.

PeerJ Comput Sci

June 2024

Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Shanghai, China.

An event schema provides a formal language for representing events and modeling knowledge about the world. Existing event schema induction methods often only applies text features to the cluster, restricting its cluster capabilities. This article presents a Graph-Based Event Schema Induction model to extract structural features from our constructed graph.
