Elice16Indures® Plant Conditioner combines the effects of a number of herbs to increase the yield of dicotyledonous plants in the field. This crop enhancer can also be used in organic farming applying low doses with ULV spraying by drone. Reducing the ecological footprint is the basis for sustainable crop production. By using the crop enhancer, a better crop can be achieved with less impact on the environment. EU Member States attach great importance to rapeseed . Due to its versatility, it is one of the supported plants. Plant conditioner applied in different phenological phases (BBCH 51 and BBCH 67) of winter oilseed rape at a dose of 240 g/ha of. By using Elice16Indures, the value of the vegetation index and the yield can be increased. RNA-seq data set of field Elice16Indures-treated and non-treated (control) rapeseed plants are presented. For RNA-seq experiments, two samples were taken from leaf tissues in the phenological phase of BBCH 69 from control and treated plots, 2 days after treatment. Illumina NextSeq 550 sequence reads were uploaded to the NCBI SRA database after preprocessing. Combined read sets were assembled and functional annotation with the output transcripts were performed. The entire dataset of identified coding sequences (transcripts) was deposited in the NCBI TSA database. The SRA and TSA datasets are under the BioProject access PRJNA838472. The data series reported in this study may open up new opportunities to increase the efficiency of organic rapeseed production.

The agricultural sector of any country plays a pivotal role in its economy. Irrigation and the provision of appropriate nutrient levels in soil are essential for optimizing plant growth and enhancing crop productivity. To support the increasing need for food due to the growing population worldwide, synthetic fertilizers have been widely used in the agricultural sector.

Continuous cropping problems constitute threats to perennial plant health and survival. Soil conditioners have the potential to enhance plant disease resistance in continuous cropping systems. However, how microbes and metabolites of the rhizosphere respond to soil conditioner addition remains largely unknown, but this knowledge is paramount to providing innovative strategies to enhance plant adaptation in continuous cropping systems.

The study investigated the application of humic acids (HAs) and a combination of humic acids and amino acids (HA+AA) in maize under field conditions. Based on preliminary data in the literature, the aim was to investigate the effects of the two plant conditioning compounds on plant physiological parameters. In addition to measuring plant physiological parameters in the field, a complete transcriptome analysis was performed to determine exactly which genes were expressed after the treatments and in which physiological processes they play a role.

Guadua angustifolia biochar/TiO composite and biochar as bio-based materials with environmental and agricultural application.

Globally, the companies that make commercial use of bamboo culms produce different kinds of solid waste rich in lignocellulosic biomass, which in some cases is not used and is discarded in landfills or incinerated in the open air; losing the possibility of recovering them and using them in other productive sectors. The research objective were to produce a biochar from Guadua agustifolia  Kunth sawdust, evaluate its potential environmental and agricultural use, obtain a biochar/TiO  composite to inactivate Escherichia coli and use the biochar as a soil conditioner in medicinal plants producing phenolic compounds and flavonoids. Biochar composite (produced at 300 °C for 1 h) involved TiO at 450 °C for 1 h for inactivation of E.

Comparing total suspended solids sensors for improved dewatering of wastewater from non-sewered sanitation.

Article Synopsis
  • Nearly half of the world relies on non-sewered sanitation systems, where wastewater is treated on-site or transported for treatment, making efficient systems crucial, especially in rapidly urbanizing areas.
  • Wastewater from non-sewered sources varies greatly, complicating treatment processes, as established methods can be resource-intensive and ineffective for handling this variability.
  • A study evaluated six types of sensors for measuring solids in variable wastewater, finding that optical light-attenuation sensors performed best overall, particularly in low-cost options, while others struggled with different contaminants like fats and inorganic materials.
