Objective: it was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rapamycin-eluting stents at different doses in the treatment of coronary artery narrowing in miniature pigs.
Methods: a total of 20 miniature pigs were randomly assigned into four groups: S1 group (low-dose rapamycin-coated stent, 55 µg/mm), S2 group (medium-dose rapamycin-coated stent, 120 µg/mm), S3 group (high-dose rapamycin-coated stent, 415 µg/mm), and D0 group (bare metal stent). The stent size was 3.
Introduction: To evaluate the feasibility and safety of using the novel flexible vacuum-assisted ureteral access sheath (FV-UAS) in flexible ureteroscopy (F-URS) treatment of impacted non-distal ureteral stones.
Methods: We analyzed data from patients who underwent FV-UAS treatment for impacted non-distal ureteral stones between January 2022 and September 2023. Perioperative parameters were evaluated, including operative time, ureteral injury, and complications.

Percutaneous coronary interventions in highly calcified atherosclerotic lesions are challenging due to the high mechanical stiffness that significantly restricts stent expansion. Intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) is a novel vessel preparation technique with the potential to improve interventional outcomes by inducing microscopic and macroscopic cracks to enhance stent expansion. However, the exact mechanism of action for IVL is poorly understood, and it remains unclear whether the improvement in-stent expansion is caused by either the macro-cracks allowing the vessel to open or the micro-cracks altering the bulk material properties.

Objectives: To explore the experience of tumor control technique in robot-assisted laparoscopic bladder diverticulectomy (RALBD) in the treatment of bladder diverticulum tumor, intraoperative tumor control and postoperative comprehensive treatment.
Patients And Methods: We treated three male patients with bladder diverticulum tumors. Case 1 involved a 63-year-old with a 3.

This study aimed to evaluate changes in cerebral blood flow and perioperative outcomes in patients with unilateral symptomatic carotid artery stenosis before and after carotid artery stenting (CAS), providing insights to guide surgical decision-making. Ninety-six patients with moderate to severe unilateral symptomatic carotid artery stenosis (>50%) admitted to the Neurology Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University from June 2023 to April 2024 were included. All patients underwent CAS and magnetic resonance imaging, including diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and 3D quasi-continuous arterial spin-labeled perfusion imaging, within 3 days preoperatively and on the third postoperative day.
