This is the first report of a prototype that allows for real-time interaction with high-resolution cellular modules using GLASS technology. The prototype was developed* using zStack data sets which allow for real-time interaction of low polygon and direct surface models exported from primary source imaging. This paper also discusses potential educational and clinical applications of a wearable, interactive, user-centric, augmented reality visualization of cellular structures. * Prototype was developed using IMARIS , ImageJ , MAYA , 3DCOAT , UNITY , ZBrush , OcculusRift , LeapMotion , and output for multiplatform function with Google GLASS technology as its viewing modality.

Accurate prediction of RNA modifications holds profound implications for elucidating RNA function and mechanism, with potential applications in drug development. Here, the RNA-ModX presents a highly precise predictive model designed to forecast post-transcriptional RNA modifications, complemented by a user-friendly web application tailored for seamless utilization by future researchers. To achieve exceptional accuracy, the RNA-ModX systematically explored a range of machine learning models, including Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Gated Recurrent Unit, and Transformer-based architectures.

This study presents an innovative enhancement to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems by seamlessly integrating fine-tuned large language models (LLMs) with vector databases. This integration capitalizes on the combined strengths of structured data retrieval and the nuanced comprehension provided by advanced LLMs. Central to our approach are the LoRA and QLoRA methodologies, which stand at the forefront of model refinement through parameter-efficient fine-tuning and memory optimization.

Surgical context-aware systems (SCAS), which leverage real-time data and analysis from the operating room to inform surgical activities, can be enhanced through the integration of head-mounted displays (HMDs). Rather than user-agnostic data derived from conventional, and often static, external sensors, HMD-based SCAS relies on dynamic user-centric sensing of the surgical context. The analyzed context-aware information is then augmented directly into a user's field of view via augmented reality (AR) to directly improve their task and decision-making capability.

Motivation: Functional Annotation of genomic Variants Online Resources (FAVOR) offers multi-faceted, whole genome variant functional annotations, which is essential for Whole Genome and Exome Sequencing (WGS/WES) analysis and the functional prioritization of disease-associated variants. A versatile chatbot designed to facilitate informative interpretation and interactive, user-centric summary of the whole genome variant functional annotation data in the FAVOR database is needed.
Results: We have developed FAVOR-GPT, a generative natural language interface powered by integrating large language models (LLMs) and FAVOR.

Brain-computer interfaces (BCI) enable users to control devices through their brain activity. Motor imagery (MI), the neural activity resulting from an individual imagining performing a movement, is a common control paradigm. This study introduces a user-centric evaluation protocol for assessing the performance and user experience of an MI-based BCI control system utilizing augmented reality.
