Haematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) recipients have deficiencies in their adaptive immunity against vaccine preventable diseases. National and International guidance recommends that HSCT recipients are considered 'never vaccinated' and offered a comprehensive course of revaccination. This position statement aims to draw upon the current evidence base and existing guidelines, and align this with national vaccine availability and licensing considerations in order to recommend a pragmatic and standardised re-vaccination schedule for adult and paediatric HSCT recipients in the UK.

1. Polymorphisms in genes related to drug-metabolizing genes may affect tacrolimus exposure. This study aimed to assess the influence of , , and polymorphisms on tacrolimus pharmacokinetics and outcomes in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT).

At present, the world has entered the normalization stage of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) management. COVID-19 continues to affect patients with allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) for a long period. The author discussed the possible effect of COVID-19 on HSCT strategy and prognosis during this period based on literature reports.

The immune checkpoint receptors play a crucial role in managing the transplantation outcome including development of acute graft versus host disease (aGVHD) and disease recurrence following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is well established. This study aimed to investigate the expression of immune checkpoint receptors, including PD-1/PD-L1, CTLA-4, TIM-3, and LAG-3 in donors, as well as changes in their expression during the first 90 days (day 30 and day 90) post-HLA-matched allo-HSCT, concerning the development of aGVHD and disease relapse. Forty-one donor/recipient pairs were included in this study.

Follicular lymphoma (FL) may undergo histological transformation (HT) into a more aggressive lymphoma. Although rituximab for B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas (B-NHL) has greatly improved the overall survival (OS) of patients with transformed FL (tFL), relapse after anthracycline-based chemoimmunotherapy has a poor prognosis. CD19-targeting chimeric antigen receptor-modified T-cell (CAR-T) therapy is a promising treatment for relapsed or refractory (r/r) large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL), including tFL.

Phthalates and bisphenols, ubiquitous compounds found in various everyday products, have garnered attention due to their potential health-disrupting effects. This study aimed to (1) investigate urinary phthalate metabolites and bisphenol A (BPA) levels in donors and recipients prior to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and monitor changes in these compounds in pediatric recipients at different time points (Day-9, Day 0, Day+7, Day+28, Day+90), and (2) assess their association with engraftment success. Urine samples from pediatric recipients and donors were collected for analysis of phthalate metabolites and BPA in 34 donor-recipient pairs.
