Background: Concept maps demonstrate relationships between concepts visually, allowing connections to develop the learner's cognition. Despite studies that demonstrate the value of this method, it has still not been adopted in mainstream nursing education as an assessment tool.
Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the use of the concept map as an assessment tool in nursing education.

In research on building a one-shot learning neural network without pre-training using mass data, the limitation on the information obtained from a single training sample downgrades the performance of the network. In order to improve performance and take full advantage of the support set, in this study, we design three kinds of shadow nodes and propose a structure-based training method for a correlation-coefficient-based neural network. This training strategy focuses on branches that are not activated or inactivated as expected.

In the conventional GW method, the three-point vertex function (Γ) is approximated to unity (Γ ∼ 1). Here, we developed an all-electron first-principles GWΓ method beyond a conventional GW method by considering a first-order three-point vertex function (Γ(1) = 1 + iGGW) in a one-electron self-energy operator. We applied the GWΓ method to simulate the binding energies (BEs) of B1s, C1s, N1s, O1s, and F1s for 19 small-sized molecules.

Background: One of the most debatable phlebology community's issue is the choice of the optimal tactics for endovenous varicose tributaries correction after truncal ablation. Which tactic will be most effective? There is practically no data concerning treatment tactics' choice for varicose tributary depending on its diameter. Therefore, the comparison of staged versus one-stage treatment of varicose veins is relevant problem in modern phlebology.
