Assessments in the German Public Health Service take place, among other things, in the recruitment and incapacity assessment of civil servants. This may lead to conflicts of values and norms for assessing doctors, as they have to make decisions that are not necessarily in the interests of the person being assessed. Legally, the expectations of assessing doctors in public administration are largely defined.

Background: Telemedicine has been utilized in the care of patients with COVID-19, allowing real-time remote monitoring of vital signs. This technology reduces the risk of transmission while providing high-quality care to both self-quarantined patients with mild symptoms and critically ill patients in hospitals.
Objective: This study aims to investigate the application of telemedicine technology in the care of patients with COVID-19, specifically focusing on usability, effectiveness, and patient outcomes in both home isolation and hospital ward settings.

Background: Core curricula do not include courses on how to find employment after hand fellowships. Little data exists in literature regarding job selection in hand surgery. This study's purpose was to provide information to future hand surgeons on ways of finding a job that meets their expectations and to elucidate factors that should be considered before deciding on a hand practice.

The Internet of Things (IoT) represents a paradigm shift in medical education, offering solutions to long-standing educational challenges. IoT-based systems provide real-time data, simulate clinical environments, and enable personalized learning, critical for preparing future healthcare professionals. This study implemented an IoT-based learning platform for a preclinical Doctor of Medicine (MD) course launched for 56 third-year students in a medical school from a developing country.

Social media influencers (SMIs) have emerged as a significant alternative source of health-related information for adolescents, apart from their parents, doctors, and schools. It is yet to be determined whether adolescents' use of social media influencers leads to a deterioration or an improvement of their overall health literacy and food literacy. This study (N = 509), for one thing, investigated adolescents' health literacy (using the MOHLAA-Q), food literacy (using the SFLQ), and use of social media influencers as sources of information on healthy lifestyles (mapped through self-report questions).
