From 2014 to 2021, Tunisian government had a firm will to implement a progressive decentralization of welfare state governance, as outlined in its democratic Constitution. The Tunisian public healthcare system was selected as a pilot sector for experimenting with decentralization to reduce disparities in access to and quality of health services across different regions. Purpose: To assess and compare, through a retrospective cohort study, the relationships between frailty, comorbidity, multimorbidity, and levels of adherence to lipid-lowering drugs (LLDs), antihypertensives and antidepressants.

Informed consent is mandatory for an individual to receive a clinical service, yet the process is often still tough and twisty. This is a hot topic also for patient associations and thus PaLiNUro associaton set the objective to produce, with a multidisciplinary approach, a simple but comprehensive information note to the informed consent for people with urothelial cancer about to undergo to a radical cystectomy surgery. After assessing as not valid 12 information notes from nine Italian hospitals, the multidisciplinary group produced an eight-page document accompanied by a supplemental document for further details, both available on PaLiNUro website.

Hearing and vision disorders in newborns are a serious social and public health problem. To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of screening protocols, it is necessary to use standardized procedures and ensure their implementation at a national level. This is the first set of Italian national practice recommendations for professionals involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of hearing and eye screening that will guide the development of multidisciplinary services and public health policies to prevent and/or treat hearing and vision impairment in newborns.
